Review: The Dark Knight

Instead of my weekly (or lack thereof) rant, I thought I'd post this week with a movie review that's as spoiler-free as possible (not that everybody hasn't already seen this movie). Because frankly, I have nothing better to rant about.

To start off, my mom bought The Dark Knight about a week ago. We finally got around to watching it tonight, and all I have to say is:

HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT.

That was possibly the most amazing movie I have ever seen. I was seriously shaking from how intense it was. It starts off kind of slow, but then it's just... Wow. Nonstop action, suspense, and intensity. And explosions. There's plenty of those.

While we're on the topic of explosions, I'd like to point out that the special effects are STELLAR. Those explosions looked fucking REAL, and every single other effect was done to perfection. Perfection, I say!

One thing I totally loved above all the rest was how Harvey Dent's burnt off face. That looked insane, awesome, and downright CREEPY all at the same time. The make-up artists and effects guys did a kick-ass job with that.

...Am I the only one that jumped in their seat when The Joker was like "Why. So. SERIOUS?!" ?

Overall, saying it was a fucking amazing movie would be the understatement of the year. I give it a >9000 out of 10. Definitely worth a buy, or at least a rent and re-rent.
